Born and raised in the Region of Niagara, Ron Dewberry began his career at a young age headlining for local bands Take 5 and Beginnings, bringing pop, rock, and Top 40 tunes to life. For the past six years, Ron has brought his crooning style to audiences across North America, specializing in classics from ‘The Great American Songbook’ and selections by other contemporary jazz legends.
Some of Ron’s notable singing engagements include; opening for Serena Ryder at the Niagara Fallsview Casino, performing at Paul Godfrey’s Celebrity Roast (former Blue Jays President and CEO), and fundraisers held by dignitaries Rob Nicholson (Minister of Foreign Affairs) and Peter McKay (former Minister of Justice).
Entertaining regularly on the Niagara music scene at Casa Mia Ristorante, Marilyn’s Bistro, and performing with the Jimmy Stahl Big Band, Ron’s passion keeps him true to his influences. From the Rat Pack to Elvis, his smooth style and high energy make him a hit with any audience. He also just happens to share the same birthday as Old Blue Eyes himself, Mr. Frank Sinatra.

A native of the Outaouais Region, which borders the provinces of Ontario and Québec, Geneviève-Renée Bisson is a multi-disciplinary vocalist and musician. With a diverse background spanning multiple genres from classical voice, gospel, and Broadway, to R&B and jazz, you can hear influences within her interpretation of Big Band music.
From 2010 to 2017, Renée held a residency performing all-year round at The Hilton Fallsview Hotel (Brasa Brazilian Restaurant), in Niagara Falls Ontario. The live show was built around a latin-pop trio (The Rio Trio ’10-‘15, Latin Twist ’15-‘17) with a repertoire featuring world music in five languages, Latin minor percussion, and traditional dance from across the globe. The project released a self-titled album in 2014, produced by Ruben Arancibia, garnering two Niagara Music Awards and seven nominations.
First joining the Jimmy Stahl Big Band for their appearance at the 2016 Brantford International Jazz Festival, Renée has enjoyed returning to the big stage and her jazz roots. Recent engagements have been; the 2017 TD Niagara Jazz Festival, the 2017 TD Niagara Jazz Festival Big Band Fundraiser, the Grand Opening Gala for McMaster University’s L.R. Wilson Concert Hall, and the Swingin’ Big Band Christmas Showcase at the historic Niagara Falls Seneca Theatre.

Michael Vanhevel has performed all over Canada in various theatre and concert venues, in cities such as Halifax, London, Cambridge, Niagara, Stratford, and Sudbury. He has played sold out shows at the Stratford Festival, and his concerts (in which he performs across multiple genres and styles), are always met with great reception.
Since joining the Jimmy Stahl Big Band in 2015, Michael continues to be overjoyed to be working with the project, and is honoured to be able to share this legendary songbook with audiences everywhere.
Michael has recently recorded his second full-length CD, “On The Rocks”, which features crooner classics and contemporary hits, while his first release “Intimate” honors the beautiful romantic classics of the 40’s and 50’s era’s.

Loralee McGuirl is a Hamilton based singer, known for her versatile voice and adventurous repertoire, which spans such divergent genres as jazz, blues, rock, gospel, show tunes and opera. A thoroughly engaging and polished performer, Loralee has captivated audiences time and again with her soaring range, vocal agility and emotionally evocative improvisational technique.
She has performed with numerous stars such as Susan Aglukark at the Canadian Country Music awards in 1997. Since 2004 Loralee has represented Opera Hamilton at various functions including the Italian Film Festival, receptions for Mayor Hazel McCallion and Lincoln Alexander. Since 2005 she has performed with the Windmill Theatre in Mississauga, a cabaret style show, displaying a wide range of styles from Broadway, Jazz, 70’s and 80’s Pop to Classical. Loralee was the featured performer at the 2010 Gala Concert.
Matthew is a five time Canadian Gospel Male Vocalist of the Year and has sung in over 1,500 venues across Canada and the United States, including the White House in Washington D.C.
He has been a professional singer for over 20 years and produced 10 albums in that time with the following award winning groups, The Unashamed Quartette, His Season, and Valiant.
